After trying nearly everything suggested in this thread with no success to my problem of my ipad losing connection with roon briefly every minute or so, I did a soft reset of my ipad (pressing sleep and home button simultainiously until apple symbol comes up). This, for a two hour listening session, seems to have corrected the problem.
