My assumption is that there are no issues when the sample rate stays consistent between tracks, correct?

Are any other audio zones experiencing this behavior or is it just the SBT + Meridian speaker zone?

Can you please provide screenshots of your signal path leaving Roon when you notice this behavior and all the playback settings being used in the application.
