Roon intermittently loses contact with airplay and raspberry pi

I am running the latest Roon software 1.1 build 88, 64 bit. I am running Windows 7, my music is on an external hard drive. I have a usb dac which roon can find perfectly. It is the networked devices that are quite spotty now. (This only started yesterday after several weeks of success). Every few minutes the networked devices I have (apple tv and raspberry pi) disappear from the list of available connections. I only really care about the raspberry pi but it’s the principle of the thing. I tried rebooting both the pi and apple tv to no avail. Why do these connections come and go?

Can you let us know a little more about your setup, particularly with regards to the network topology?

Everything is on a wired network. Router is an asus RT68U latest firmware. iTunes can see the device, but Roon cannot. I looked in the log file and found what looks like an error message:

Do you need any more information than what I gave you above? Thanks

Hi @David_Howard – sorry for the slow response here, I missed this. Can you let me know if you’re still having issues here?

For some reason roon seems to now be recognizing the raspberry pi. I’ve been told that an upcoming version of roon will simplify the raspberry pi interface. If so, when will that be coming out?
