about 90% of the time that I start Roon, it starts, waits 2-3 minutes (sometimes it hits my 8 bay external drive tower to scan and add music) but usually a big red X comes across the screen and Roon exits. Sometime if I restart it works - most times it takes 2-3 time before it will stay running and is usable… Kind of a pain. I’m running Win 8.1n - my library is about 400000 FLAC and DSF. Any ideas? thanks
Sounds like a memory problem.
A soon to come 64bit version will solve these issues hopefully.
I’ve not heard of a big red X before. Which OS are you running ? Have you seen it with any other software ?
