1.7 DB update not finishing

I too am having problems with updating the database.

I gave it six hours—which, frankly, seemed excessive—then quit and restarted.

At the moment, I have the little, jiggly ball thingy wiggling on the screen and nothing else.

I am not impressed.

FWIW: The only hardware involved is a 2019 iMac

So we can better assist you, please provide a brief description of your current setup using this link as a guide.

Make sure to describe your network configuration/topology, including any networking hardware currently in use, so we can have a clear understanding of how your devices are communicating.

How large is your library? How many tracks total?

Do you have any backups of your Roon database?

I left my iMac running overnight and woke up to find it had finished updating, so I guess I’m sorted until the next update.

Let me know if you still want the information requested above, I’m not averse to providing it, it just seems irrelevant now.
