1.8 Doesn't Use the Full Viewport

I have a large monitor, and I like to be able to see my music… in 1.7, the content would fill the window. Now the content has a very small (in comparison to my window size) maximum width, and I get GIGANTIC whitespace gutters on the right and left. Limited width is good for lines of text, but when scrolling a giant collection of images, that doesn’t matter.

  • Don’t penalise people with big monitors.
  • Maintain a reasonable max width for text lines
  • Allow collection views (album art, Discover content, artists, etc) to span the full width of the window/viewport.
