1.8 keeps crashing after choosing playlist menue

Description Of Issue

Core and iPad updated to 1.8.
After choosing playlist from menu remote app crashed. Reopening results in crashing, cannot use it anymore, no music at all.

To be precise: after choosing an actual playlist.
Reinstalling remote app leads back to home screen.
Once I choose playlist again app is not useable anymore.
It shows up for two seconds then crashes again.

I think it’s related to another issue with settings, so did you see the post with the workaround?
Not pretty, but effective!
