11 weeks for $1 - with a catch

Got the email today offering 11 weeks for $1.

As I no longer use Roon, not an active subscriber I thought I’d take a peek.

T&Cs

“2. Eligibility: This offer is available to new Roon users and select returning subscribers whose previous subscription ended before January 1, 2026.”
And

“9. Exclusions: The software offer is not available for trial users or for users with an active Roon subscription.”

Am I not a returning customer. Just not selected enough I guess :rofl:

I won’t subscribe to Roon again and this isn’t to vent or axe grind, but the T&Cs are a bit wonky and IMHO in poor form.

When did your subscription end?

From what I see, you do have an active monthly subscription associated with the email address used with your forum account.

If this is incorrect, please let me know and I’ll reach out to Roon.

We appreciate you keeping an eye on what’s going on at Roon, even if you don’t necessarily have an intention to return right now.

P.S. To automatically qualify for 11 weeks of Roon for $1 your subscription should have lapsed before January 1, 2026. It seems your ended on April 28, 2026, and so this specific offer wasn’t applicable.
