Newly deployed a Bluesound Icon, that is a nice piece of gear, fully ROON certified, I think there, despite that claim, are a few short comings; ROON only recognizes the player, not the two different output stages I use, the RCA line out and the build in HeadPhone out. Well, it does work with both outputs, but you can’t save any settings agains the stages indicudually . only agains the player as such. It is annoying, since for the RCA I have applied one set of volume constraits to not blow the speakers, and that is also active when using the less efficient cans I have resulting in very low vol.-level. Merely I apply some EQ for the cans, that i don’t need for the RCA but still is active by default. Anyone that has similar issues and have a good work around - ROON doesn’t seem to cater well for devices with more than one output stage, unfortunately
