Description Of Issue
2 local tracks (FLAC 24/192) of the same album keep skipping while work perfectly on my Macbook.
If I “play from here” they keep skipping, if I “play now” they’re working.
All the softwares in the chain are updated: rock, bluesound, sonos and all connected with ethernet.
Already tried to re-convert tracks (same bitrate) and remove all the queue from roon and bluesound.
Deleted and copied all the files again on Rock + Re-identify and re-analyze the album several times.
Rebooted Rock.
Never happened before with any other track in my library
Does this behavior happen for both the Bluesound and Sonos zone with the same tracks? If the answer to this is yes, can you please upload the tracks to Dropbox / Google Drive and send me a link via private message (click my name -> message)?
I wanted to touch base with some good news, which is that our technical team has been able to reproduce this behavior and we’ve opened up a bug report with our developers.
While I can’t say for certain when this bug will be fixed, getting things reproduced in-house is a critical first step, and I will keep this thread up to date as the team passes along feedback and work begins to get this resolved.
Do any of the other tracks on this album exhibit this issue or is it just those two tracks? If you want to send the full album over, you can do so, maybe it will help when taking a look for any patterns as to why these two tracks are problematic vs the other working ones.
