Description of Issue

Just received 2nd Nucleus.Opened 2nd account. ROON OS Devices show both Nucleus. “New” Nucleus successfully formatted. Cannot use OS app, or ROON Remote to log into new account. Can log into new account, but unable to associate with new Nucleus.

Have you updated the 2nd Nucleus so it’s running the latest RoonOS and Roon Server versions?

Check using the web admin interface.

Did you mean to open a second account? Accounts are not licenses. The database can not be shared between accounts.

If you mean to share the database between the two, you would need to add a 2nd license to your one account.

2 Nucleus, 2nd delivered yesterday. 2 accounts, 2 licensees. “New” Nucleus is for a friend with own account and license. New Nucleus shows up twice in settings, same Toshiba 4TB SSD formatted correctly, two different ip addresses. Trying to delete/remove one or both and start over. Had started copying FLAC files from “backup” usb library to new Nucleus but too many errors, probably because of 2 ip addresses. Will continue to try, thanks.

There are no downloaded files (ie Tidal/Quboz. All files were ripped from cd’s i have purchased over last 30 years. WT… are pontificating about. New Nucleus, new license, new account for family member.

No Roon backup files being used on 2 devices. Music files i own.
