Don’t know if this is relevant, but when I rip new CDs and add them to my library and want to access them immediately, I have to reboot the Roon server. If I give the server time to ferment the albums will eventually appear on their own.
I know this is not the problem you are having, but the behavior is similar.
It sounds like you have a problem with your system, I would raise that as a separate support thread. Files should be recognised immediately.

It’s the NAS part I missed. That would account for it, though you can set to autoscan on an interval.
Me too. I thought that moving the core to a Nucleus might fix this. However, forcing a re-scan is no big deal.
