Hello, it would be great if native streaming of flac 8.0 or 6.0 recordings would bei possible, considering the height channels front and back. On cybele records one can download many aurophonic tracks, and it would be great to enjoy this via roon.
I expect that 8.0/6.0 multichannel already is possible, since Roon supports nominally 7.1 multichannel. Roon is not concerned with the content of the channels. If the LFE channel is to be repurposed as a full range height channel, for example, that likely is left up to the user to redirect at the analog output stage, regardless of Roon.
