Hi friends,
the title already says it all, I cannot find a way to filter my library according to the length of the various albums, it seems strange to me that there is no such feature available…
Any suggestions?

You’re right, there is no such option.
The only thing that comes (a tiny bit) close to what you want, is focussing on track count, via inspector. Although an album with ten one minute tracks will in this case be ‘longer’ than an album with a single 15 minute track.
There also is an option to see the size of folders (in folder view), in megabytes. But this will only be helpful if you are interested in sizes within one folder. And all albums should have the same sampling rate to be able to compare them. (And you can’t do this with albums from streaming services.)
You should do a feature suggestion, I guess.
