A "handoff" question?

I feel I should know the answer to this:
If I’m playing an album on my iPad and I pause it, I want to go to another remote device eg my macbook and resume that album but now on my multiroom speaker set up. When I switch outputs in Roon on my macbook the last thing that was playing on the mutiroom comes up. How do I switch to what was playing on the iPad and is in pause mode?

Edit- actually it’s simpler than this- if I switch zones on the same device how do I transfer what I am playing over to the new zone?

Select the previous Zone, then the Speaker-icon, and “transfer queue”.

Sadly, if you “destroy” the previous endpoint, i.e. making it unavailable for some reason, you cannot (afaik) resume the queue…
