A reason not to use Wi-Fi on the Raspberry Pi 3

Apparently the Wi-Fi chip in the Pi 3 is vulnerable to this attack:

However, I’m not sure what kind of sensitive info the Pi 3 would be transmitting over Wi-Fi, so perhaps this is a non-issue.

Maybe they’re listening to your music?

It affects a whole lot of devices. From what I understand, a potential attacker–in range of your wi-fi–can only gain access to some unencrypted data; TLS traffic is unaffected.

I suspect OS patches will be available very soon if not already released.
