In our two main entertainment rooms, we have one endpoint (Yggy) attached to an Anthem amp and some nice speakers. In another room, we have a simple Sonos Arc. These two endpoints won’t group in Roon because of competing technologies.
This is too bad, because the volume on each will be low and neither can be heard in the other room. So, if they’re not exactly synched, note for note, I doubt it will impact negatively. We just want some pleasant holiday tunes sorta synched between the rooms.
So for this particular use case, is there a setup workaround that might work? I thought about setting up two zones, queing the same playlist, then hitting play as simultaniously as possible. But I fear that may become asynchronous quickly.
