Hi all,
Before subscribing, I would like to know if it’s possible to access to my Roon library from a Windows or Linux computer from somewhere other than home, for example at work.
I have a personal VPN server if it can help.
I know the Roon ARC application, but I am not looking to access it via Android, but via Windows or Linux.
Today, I have my Hi-Fi system at home. I use Foobar2000 when I’m at home, and Plex when I’m elsewhere. But it’s complicated to maintain both libraries and playlists.
If I replace both with Roon, I would like to be able to access them from everywhere.
Thank you.
P.S: I’ve already search on the forum but I didn’t find the answer
No it’s not really. Generally, all Roon devices (other than ARC) have to be on the same LAN subnet. (Some people may have limited success with a VPN but that’s considered Tinkering, is officially unsupported, and has varying results)

Ok! Thanks for your reply. So I’ll continue with Foobar and Plex ! See you sometime, when Roon will become Internet accessible !
