Access to Web GUI

Hi,

I’d first like to start with what appears to be wrong or obsolete information in the ROCK documentation. I quote from Roon Knowledge Base - RoonOS web:

Accessing The Web Interface

• Make sure your Roon OS device is on and connected to your network
• Open Roon on any platform (Mac, Windows, Android, or iOS)
• Click Configure Roon OS Devices

When i open Roon there is no place to “click on configure Roon OS Devices” that i can see. I did find the IP address listed and guessed successfully that if i popped it into a web browser it would work.

But it remains that the documentation is misleading (or i cant see) and there ought to be a more direct way to access that GUI.

to Roon: you need to update or correct your documentation. note that its also not (easily) searchable on kb: “Core Web Gui” returns no direct documentation hits for me.

excellent. As for me, I’m fine with the IP address route. But people should not have to jump through hoops or follow instructions to nowhere…
