Accuphase DAC 50 Card

Hello,

I‘m new to Roon!
I run Roon Rock. From the PC it goes via USB to the DAC-50 card of an Accuphase E-460.

Two questions:

  • the Dac-50 card is DSD native capable. But this is not shown in the configuration.
  • In the audio settings the card is shown as “Accuphase USB Audio Product6”. However, I cannot identify this device. Accuphase does not appear in the submenu! (see sreenshot)

    Accuphase writes:
“The converter uses AK4490EQ chips from Asahi Kasei Microdevices in a double parallel configuration via channel.”

What can I do?

Thanks a lot
Dieter

Probably requires windows drivers to get the maximum spec performance from it.

Accuphase does not support Linux native DSD, therefore DSD256 does not work on ROCK.

Your only solution is to run Roon on Windows if you need DSD256.

Thanks, folks!

I thought so, but not that bad!

I can do without Win 10!

Many greetings
