With my Sony AV receiver it is not easy to turn surround upmixing on and off. So I have been attempting to write a surround upmixer for stereo tracks using DSP Procedural EQ. I have only had limited success.
I would like to emulate something like ProLogic II but that is not possible without +90-degree and -90-degree phase-shift.
