If the core database gets corrupted, Roon will not load at all and shows only a blank screen with ‘There was an issue loading your database’.
This happened to me recently. I had to rename the core database folder with an extension _OLD, then create/configure a new core, then restore from a recent backup, then delete the _OLD folder.
It would be much easier and save a lot of time and effort if there was a ‘Restore from database backup’ option on the page with the ‘There was an issue loading your database’ error.
This should not be too difficult to implement.
