A while back (not sure the version) Roon added the ability to have playlists displayed on the sidebar rather than having to click Playlists in order to view them. Well I don’t use playlists, what I do use is Tags (roonalbumtag) added to the file’s metadata.
The ability to list the tag folders (not sure if that the right term but I’m sure you know what I mean) in place of playlists would totally make my listening/browsing experience
Are you talking about the RoonAlbum tag in the metadata of the music files, which you can use to indicate box sets or whatever else you might want, or are you talking about Roon’s built-in Tag feature?
If you’re talking about the former, the answer is no. If you’re talking about the latter, they should already be showing.
I think the OP wants the option to list the individual tags there, just like it’s possible to list the individual playlists (and not just the Playlist link on the sidebar that takes you to the playlists page)
Roon’s built in tags pick up the RoonAlbum tag. But I know you can’t currently have them listed in the sidebar… thats why I’ve put it as a feature suggestion!
