Please crowd source corrections to an artist name for a song when Roon has got it incorrect. I was listening to this album “Masoom” and all the songs have RD Burman as the singer. This is incorrect because each sung by different artists. I was looking for a way to suggest changes, so that you can have someone look into it and correct it. Here are the correct artists for each song in the album:
Huzur Is Kadar - Bhupinder and Suresh Wadkar
Do Naina Aur Ek Kahani - Arati Mukhopadhyay
Tujhse Naraz Nahin Zindagi (female version) - Lata Mangeshkar
Tujhse Naraz Nahin Zindagi(male version) - Anup Ghoshal
Lakdi Ki Kathi - Vanita Mishra, Gauri Bapat and Gurpreet Kaur
I have seen this problem mostly for international albums and I know that the metadata is incorrect for a lot of these albums even with Gracenote or other metadata companies. Why not give Roon users ability to suggest corrections, that can be verified by a ‘Human In the Loop’ and we eventually have more correct discography and album metadata. This lends to a much better search functionality and more importantly higher platform usability. The recommendation engine would also work a lot better if you have correct metadata.
