Add possibility to remove individual parts (of a composition) from the playing queue

Hello,
I’ve seen similar questions in the forum but didn’t find any solution : how do you remove some parts from the playing queue ?
For example, say I added a Mozart opera to the queue but want to skip all the recitatives ? couldn’t find a way to remove individuals parts - I can only list them and do play from here.
And I can’t even like select individuals tracks in the album to queue only them because Roon would automatically group them as parts in the queue.
This is so annoying, has anyone found a solution for this ?
Thanks

P.S. I use Roon’s GUI from iPad / iPhone exclusively.

Hi,
first do a right klick on one track in the list. Then klick with left on the other tracks you want to select.
After this you can select a action on top of the list.
This works for the playing queue and also in the album view.

It is also possible to Shift-click to select whole ranges, just like elsewhere in Windows/Mac.

However, I’m not sure if this works for individual parts of multi-part works, and my impression was the the OP might have asked about this

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I use Roon GUI exclusively from an iPad / iPhone so there is no,right or left click, only tap and hold.
I tried everything I could imagine in this context.
When I select only a few tracks in a composition, it automatically add the tracks as parts in a group in the queue.

If you bring up the play queue you should be able to pick (via whatever OS specific method) the individual upcoming tracks and remove them from the queue. It works on Android, Windows and iOS.

In this case, you can tap-and-hold an item to start a multi-selection. Then tap other items to add them to the selection. Basically the same as multi-selection works in any other mobile app. You can’t select a whole range of items at once, though (like you can on PCs with the Shift key)

Unfortunately it is not that simple. It works like that when your tracks are not detected as part of a “composition”.
When the tracks are part of a composition, it’s the composition that is shown as one single entry in the play queue. So if you remove that entry - which encompasses multiple tracks / parts, it removes all the tracks in the composition.
What I want to do is to remove one part / track in the composition.

Here is an example of an album with 2 compositions and 6 tracks - 3 each.
In the play queue, it shows only 2 entries, one for each composition.
So I indeed remove either compositions from the queue, but I cannot remove one track / part from one of the composition for example.
When listing the parts in one of the composition, there is no option / menu to remove à part / track in the composition.
The only option,is “Play from here”

I have no problem doing multi-selection on the ipad / iphone, but when doing that, the selected tracks are still being grouped in the play queue, according to the composition each track belongs to.
And in the play queue, you can remove each group / compotiion, but you cannot remove a track / part within a composition.
The only option on the parts is “Play from here”, there is no option to remove a part.

I just wanted to make sure you know because it was not clear from the start if it’s part of the problem, but had already suspected that it’s not the whole or the biggest problem:

I see what you mean.

A workaound I can suggest; If you create a playlist featuring that specific album, you can move the individual track into that play list and leave out the sections you don’t want. Can’t really think of any other way to achieve what you’re asking other than a feature request from Roon.
