Description of Issue

When I add albums, the albums add to Library but the status wheel just spins on the page used to add the Albums. This occurs on iPhone or Windows 10 interface.
I have no issues via the native Qobuz app.

If I go to albums - its there:

If I then go back in its added and ready to heart

Thoughts? Why doesn’t the status update? Any ideas?

Is the album already previously in the Roon library? If it already is and you find the album again in Roon in some other way, e.g., search, it tends to show you the Qobuz version and not your library version. If you then click add to library again, it acts like you described.

No… not added. In the photo above I have just added the album for the first time.
This happens on new albums yet to be added. I get a small message to say its been added, but the status wheel keeps spinning. Happens on iPhone also.

Occurs randomly.

Oh ok. Sometimes it’s just slow, I guess due to variances in cloud performance. I think sometimes I have that as well, and then it returns to normal on its own.

Never happens when I use the Qobuz app.
Happens more often than not - In Roon.

If I shutdown my app - when the wheel is spinning, and restart the app, Roon will finally resync and recognise the album is added.

The Qobuz app doesn’t use Roon cloud infrastructure though. Maybe your issue is different, I’m just saying that occasionally I see poor performance when adding to library - and because nothing at all changes is my local network, I can only guess and attribute it to variances in Roon cloud performance.

Exactly my point, I feel this is a bug which needs review.

It could be improved on the Roon side, I guess, and be more consistent. However, adding an album to the Roon library is also a much more complex operation as it updates various things like crosslinked credits, while on Qobuz it is just a binary switch for favorite yes/no, so it’s not directly comparable

I accepted & appreciate the processes are likely different, with an additional communication layer via Roon. I’ll report any other examples.
