If you mean adding lyrics to a local track, then yes, you can do this. If you mean adding lyrics to a streamed track, then this has to be done by Roon Labs. See:

And here’s @Rugby’s guide for local tracks:

Hi @Daniel_Polvere,

@Geoff_Coupe has helpfully shared the most relevant information here.

If this is a streaming track to which you’re referring, can you please share the name of it here (along with the streaming service)?

Thank you!

The song is “This is Romance” on the album Old Town Doo Wop, Vol.5. I have it via Qobuz but Tidal also has it (and also without lyrics).
What maddens me is that there are other versions of this song-like one June Christy version which has the lyrics (but another J. Christy version which does not). Especially for songs which are recognized as part of “The Great American Songbook” one should be able to see the lyrics.

Hey @Daniel_Polvere,

Thanks for the follow-up. You’re absolutely correct that a song of such historical significance should have lyrics included, no matter which streaming service is hosting it.

That said, we’re a bit cornered here. We do not have much wiggle room for adding lyrics in this case, since we rely on our metadata providers for all metadata surrounding streaming content.

We’ll follow up with Qobuz and Tidal, mentioning the missing lyrics for this track, but can’t fully promise lyrics will be added.

Thanks for your understanding here, Daniel! :folded_hands:
