# Adding multilingual artist names

While artist name displays can be changed via language settings, some artists appear in only one language.

1. Tchaikovsky is displayed in English, Russian, and Japanese.
2. “Fermin Maria Alvarez” and “Patric Gowers” are displayed only in the original language.

For case 1), when a language other than the original is selected (e.g., Japanese or English), the original language (Russian) appears below it; when the original language (Russian) is selected, nothing appears below it.  
Case 2) involves display in the original language only, which is a very rare occurrence. It seems that famous artists fall into category 1), while some lesser-known artists fall into category 2).

Category 2) is inconvenient, so I would like to add a Japanese display name, but the artist editing function only allows for a single language setting.

I would like a feature to manually add artist names in multiple languages.
