Adding New SSD to ROCK Install?

I have ROCK up and running. Currently it is pointed to music files on my NAS. This works well but I would prefer to put a second SSD into my case for these files instead and I would rather not use an external USB drive.

Can I just install the SSD, let ROCK format it, point ROCK to it as the main library and then copy my music to it?

…Or will I need to do a fresh ROCK install?

If you have the right case, you have to have the tall case, you should be able to just add an SSD in and then format it and then copy your music over.

Thanks. I assume that I launch Roon desktop app, look in the Settings\Storage section and it will give me the format option?

you go to the web ui and format it there.
