Adding Room Correction - miniDSP SHD Studio

Hi All

I’m interested in adding room correction to my system, in particular the miniDSP SHD Studio with Direc.

I’m kind stuck on the path.

Current setup:

Roon Nucleus+ → C2700 Pre/Dac → MC462–> B&W802
Is it as simple as adding miniDSP in between Nucleus Plus and Pre as follows:
Roon Nucleus+ → MiniDSP SHP Studio–> C2700 Pre/Dac → MC462–> B&W802

I get confused as the miniDSP and C2700 Pre/Dac are both considered “Roon Ready”. Can you have two Roon Ready devices in the Path?

The McIntosh is Roon Tested, not Roon Ready. It can connect to the Nucleus only via USB. The miniDSP is Roon Ready and connects to the Nucleus via network (Ethernet or Wi-Fi).

In your signal chain above, the first arrow would be a network connection, the second arrow, either coaxial digital or TOSLINK optical.
