Adding Tracks = Two Different Albums?

Hello: I recently added two newly purchased Flac tracks to a previously installed album. Even though the essential meta data appears to be accurate, Roon has created a new album from the imported material, rather than adding them to the existing album. Any idea why this would happen, and how to correct it?

By essential metadata I mean: Album Title, Album Artist, Track Artist, et-cetera

I would try using Merge Albums

Does that help?

I suspect the newer tracks are from the same release group (album) but not necessarily the same release, which is why they are seen as separate albums.

Use Merge Albums as @BrianW suggests.
