hint: check for DIY Avalon Opus. There’s a host of them out there, many are easily as good as the original and can be picked up for a song ($2-3k) as they have no commercial value.
Well, if you are open to alternate speaker suggestions I can recommend unreservedly Amphion Argon 3S (from Finland). You can pick up a pair in the USA delivered for about $2,000. They are standmounts but go down to a genuine 38Hz.
Lots of great DAC revealing speakers at 3K range especially used. Speakers that have been reviewed by Soundstage or Stereophile. Revel. KEF. ATC. PMC. Paradigm. Totem. Thiel. Harbeth. …just to name a few and there are more mentioned above like Avalon. Not saying Tekton isn’t fantastic but I have yet to see a credible review with measurements.
I’m extremely happy with the microRendu inserted into the back of the Mytek Brooklyn.
