After downloading latest build my streamer was given a new name by Roon

Roon Core Machine

After I yesterday updated my Roon build to the latest available I have issues with playing music or watching/listening to youtube material,

My normal setup is using a Pro-Ject Stream Box S2 Ultra connected to a Pro-Ject Pre Box S2. Up till before it worked fine but not after.

  • After upgrade it cant find the streamer under its correct name, Pro-Ject Stream Box S2 Ultra. Instead it has given it a new name, Pro-Ject Box ASIO Driver. It has also been unable to find Pro-Ject DAC and I am unable to get sound from Youtube to my Stereo system after the upgrade.

Is it the new version that plays up with my setup? Nothing else has been changed.
Is it possible to download the previous version so that I can get it working again please.

Not sure if this helps but I find that when squirrelly things happen I reboot my Core machine. Make sure that your streamer is on when you do this. In my case doing this has solved some really weird stuff. Quite frankly an update should always be followed by a Core reboot. Hope this helps.

Hi, sorry but it did not help. I have also uninstalled ROON a couple of times but no change. Any other idea’s are welcome. / Martin
