Describe the issue

Hi,

I updated Roon to the latest build and now my Wiim Pro doesn't show up anymore. I can stream to it through everything else (Spotify, Tidal, Airplay etc.) but Roon doesn't recognise it at all. Can you help me resolve this because it's the only audio device I use for music listening so I need it to work again. Thank you.

Best regards,

Mark

Describe your network setup

The network isn't the problem

Hi @markvdd,

Diagnostics indicate that RoonServer pairs with the Wiim as a Roon Ready device, but the network connection between RoonServer and the rest of the LAN is intermittently severed, preventing the handshake from completing.

If you haven’t already, verify that RoonServer has local network permissions in your Mac System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network. There are tighter LAN restrictions with Sequoia than with previous MacOS releases.

If you continue to encounter the issue, please share a basic overview of your network topology. Make sure that multicast forwarding is enabled in your router settings. Thank you!

Hi Connor,

Thanks for getting back to me. I apparently needed to update my NAS drive and my Mac Mini (the Roonserver) and voila; it’s working again! Back to listenmode, thanks for your help!

Best regards,

Mark
