The instructions did not help me. I first did a factory reset of the Era 300’s and then added them to Apple homekit. Roon playback appears to start, but the seek bar remains stuck. When setting Compatability to ON, the seek bar moves, but no sound is playing.
Thanks for giving that a try. I’m trying to see if we happen to have any of these devices in-house to try to reproduce the behavior. Can you please let us know the local time + date + track when you next observe this issue on your end, so that we can enable logging and check to see for any specific issues present? Thanks!
Thanks for the follow-up and for your patience so far!
As a next step, could you please attempt to reproduce the issue with the Sonos hardwired directly to your primary router?
If your issue persists, let’s refresh your RAATServer database.
You can generate a new RAATServer instance on your device by following these instructions, but please be aware that this will reset your Roon Settings → Audio Tab to factory settings and I would advise making a backup of any custom DSP settings you have:
Hardwiring the Era and resetting the database made no difference. Roon playback still appears to start, but the seek bar remains stuck and no sound is produced. Other Sonos Products is working well with Roon via AirPlay2 but Arc Ultra and Era Speakers won’t work for me.
Hi @Baard_Ole_Grotta,
Thanks for letting us know about the results of hardwiring the Era. Our development team is now investigating this case. While I cannot give you an exact timeline once we hear back from them we will let you know their conclusions.
New build out today (1496), still no sound from Sonos Eras and Arc Ultra over AirPlay2.
Roon playback appears to start, but the seek-bar remains stuck and no sound is produced.
