ALAC files playing but no sound Roon 1.8 bridge on Raspberry Pi 3

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number) Debian

Linux jenjserver 4.19.0-13-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.160-2 (2020-11-28) x86_64

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

All ethernet Zyxel modem, TP-Link and Netgear Gigabit switches

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Dion Audio Loco AMP v2 HAT with raspberry pi 3 with Ropieee

Hifiberry Digi Plus HAT with raspberry pi 2 with Volumio Roon plugin

Description Of Issue

For both Roonbridge players it will not play ALAC files they play fine on my MacBook Air Early 2015.

It looks like they are playing but their is no sound.

Please help me resolve this issue.

Welcome to the forum and apologies for the delay in getting back to you here.

Do you see any error messages or what are the exact symptoms? Do the files play but no audio? Are other zones like the Mac System Output able to play these files?
