To help us understand exactly why the artwork isn’t pulling through, we need to get a clearer picture of your specific workflow and catch the system “in the act.”

Could you please provide a bit more detail and run a quick test for us?

What exactly is being modified?

When you mention “updating an album,” what specific fields or actions are you taking? Are you manually editing the Album Title or Artist, using the “Identify” feature, or re-scanning the files?

Please share a screenshot of the Edit screen showing exactly what you are modifying before you save the changes.

Reproduce and Timestamp

Since your Roon Server can generate diagnostic logs, we want to see exactly what the server is doing (or failing to do) at the exact moment you make an update.

Please reproduce the issue one more time. Modify an album, save the changes, and note the exact local time you did this.

Please reply here with the screenshots, the name of the album you tested, and the specific timestamp. This will allow us to check the diagnostics and see if Roon’s image fetcher is getting blocked or if it’s simply failing to find a match for the new metadata.

So did the test between 19.02 and 19.07 i named the screen shots per step. hope you can follow it. This is the way I have always done it succesfully. Up until a couple of weeks ago. First I thought it would just be a delay. But it stays unchanged.
