In 1969-71, as best I recall, there was an album that had a sepia cover and the drawing of a tree.
For decades I thought this was “under the Joshua Tree” but it is not. Can anyone recall the album to which I refer? Thank you in advance.

Eric Clapton’s 461 Ocean Boulevard is one that came to mind, but that was '74.

My memory is that it was the drawing of a tree, perhaps with roots, shades of tan. Thank you for the response but it looks like it is lost to the past.
Fleetwood Mac - Bare Trees - from 1972?
Thank you. It was very much like that except it was a single centered tree drawing, and the album name was above it. I swore it had been “under the joshua tree” which was several years later.
Thats it ! Damn that is it. Thank you so much. LOL I assumed it had been a false memory caused by PTSD.
A great record, too. Cheers!
It was not a tree, and it was not a Joshua, and it is Traffic …now if I can only determine if that spilled ink is a bat or a butterfly.
Great record - should have thought of that one myself!
The back story:
In 1970, I attempted to buy the album as part of the Record Club committment.
It was out of stock.
A few years later, I tried to buy it at the record store on University Blvd.
It sold out.
Life goes on. I forgot about the band name even though “Low Spark… “ later became one of my go-to albums.
And, as stated, all I retained was a fragmented memory of “an album with a tree on the cover.”
One of my favourite records , I had it on vinyl and CD , I would say it’s one that gets a monthly airing
It’s “sheaf of barley” rather than a tree , you still see them in manually cropped areas . I had many “Barley Walks” to review this years crop in my days as a brewer (read excuse for a day in the country and beer !!)
Interesting how it was a partial memory. Played it yesterday only to find it was very familiar.
