I am struggling. My Album list shows quite a few album covers shown more than once . I only want one to appear once but I am unable to find how to achieve that .
Settings > General > Browsing Preferences > Show hidden Tracks and Albums. Is it set to No?

Even with that albums can appear twice unless they are exactly the same version. To stop that select both albums then edit and then group both versions.
