Describe the issue

I stream music from Qobuz through Roon. Sometimes when I search for recordings of a piece of music (searching by composer, then by compositions, then by composition title), and I'm working my way through a list of albums that contain that composition, if I click on an album I'll get a blank white page with the message "This album was not found." If I go into the Qobuz app and "heart" the album, and sync the library in Roon, then the album becomes available in Roon and is added to my library so I can play it. If I remove the album from my library and try searching for it again in Roon as described above, I once again get the message that the album was not found. This picture shows one example. The album is in the list of recordings, but if I try to open it I get the message that says "This album was not found" unless I "heart" the album in the Qobuz app.

This is very interesting. I was able to reproduce the “This album was not found” message as you described, in the Sibelius Symphony No. 7 composition page for the album you show in your screenshot. The message is shown when I open the album by tapping directly on the album cover, or using the 3 dots on the right and selecting Go to album. Curiously though, if I tap in the middle of the row and select Play Now, it does open the album and begins playing it.

I can also do a global search for “collon sibelius symphony 7”, and the album will open when I select it in the search results. It seems to be a problem directly related to the recordings list in the composition page.

Hello @vqr ,

Thanks for letting us know. I too am able to reproduce this issue on my end. I’ve forwarded your report to our data team and we will let you know what they say. Thanks in advance for your patience as this report reaches their queue!

I just tried searching by Nicholas Collon – Artist, then Discography, and then the Sibelius Symphony No. 7 album, and it opens properly. So you’re right that the problem only seems to occur in the All recordings list. I confirmed this behavior with another album that was giving me the same error.

Hi @vqr ,

After further testing, I noticed I was able to prevent this issue from happening by disabling Qobuz and leaving only TIDAL active. I wonder if this could be related to the Qobuz API issue that we are currently investigating:

I’ve forwarded your report to the team, but let’s circle back once the Qobuz issue is fully resolved and see if this still reproduces then.

The problem is still occurring. I understand it’s being looked into.

Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know @vqr - we have a ticket in with our team for further investigation and analysis.

We’ll follow up with more information once there is more information to share! Thanks for your ongoing patience here. :raising_hands:
