Can I set the album list in Roon to be defualted to Sorted by Date Added ?
And…
What does the 
do if I click on it after adding the album to the library ? I can’t figure the reason unless.it helps Roon Radio with suggestions?.

The album sort should be sticky, is it not for you?
The heart is just for you - it helps you filter/focus and I don’t believe it affects Radio apart from preventing selections if you have banned something. This KB article may help.

With the album browser - top line, between focus and tags.
On the sort, it should be sticky and can also be different for each remote.
