Roon sorts strictly by the displayed album title, placing symbols/numbers first and not ignoring leading articles and prepositions, regardless of sort tags present.
I prefer numbers and symbols to appear at the bottom of an alphabetical list, and leading articles/prepositions (e.g. “The”, “A”) should be ignored for sorting.
Most users manage this with the ubiquitous ALBUMSORTORDER tag in their respective tag manager.
Roon allows some customisation at artist level for this kind of sortation, so it makes sense to add the function for album titles.
