Hi
Maybe I’m blind but is album version still an option when viewing albums? I’ve hidden my different versions of albums other than the primary one I want displayed, eg with the best sound, etc, but what of other versions now hidden? In the old edition of Roon, there used to be a link to view all other versions in album view if i remember? Any pointers?
Cheers
Just go to the album and click the Versions tab. It should show everything you have in your library and what else is available underneath that
Ah!! Thanks for this! I’m not getting that tab. That’s what I was looking for.
Example…i have 2 versions of Trick of the tail, but no versions tab coming up. Ive tried hiding and unhiding albums and the versions tab doesn’t appear.
It’s possible that this option only comes with an integrated streaming service (Tidal, Qobuz), but I am not certain of that. I am merely speculating.
Ok, is this a @support issue?
Roon is missing many albums from my library in discography view, and instead directing me to the tidal version. I dont have any albums hidden
It will show you Tidal but it won’t play it if your version is primary. It shows the streaming version as it will show the same ones to anybody who doesn’t have then I am guessing. It would be better if it showed your version though but I think the Qobuz or Tidal symbol is to say its also available in it rather than its looking at it. When I click on it it always plays my version and my versions are the primary ones.
Check it not treating it as a separate version , some have reported that albums previously grouped have been split up again.
