Windows is typical very good but Linux less so.

Force Rescan Always Needed

Based on feedback we’ve heard, things have improved quite a bit after the changes made in 1.2 and since, particularly for users running Synology devices and QNAPs. That said, we are still dependent on network storage consistently reporting changes back to Roon, and we’ve found that some Core platforms and/or storage devices perform better than others. Depending on your configuration, there may be some ways to improve performance here, so can you let us know the details of your setup?
