Describe the issue
I uploaded new albums yesterday on my NAS. They were detected by ROON as new albums, appearing in the added section. I could even play one, then suddenly the music stopped, and the album disappeared from the « added » list, along with a few others, the added section going back to it’s previous state.
Thanks for your message here. Can we please ask you to reproduce the issue once more and let us know the exact local time + date + name of the affected albums? We will then enable logging for your account and check the logs for clues, thanks!
Hello
I was able to reproduce the issue today, starting a scan around 18:10.
The albums reappeared for a few minutes in the “added” (“ajouté” in French) section, then disappeared once more, around 18:19, as the scan was not over.
The titles are:
Kiri Te Kanawa - Side tracks
Kiri Te Kanawa - Gay/ Mozart
Kiri Te Kanawa - Ave Maria
Mozart/ Vesperae Solemnes
Kiri Te Kanawa - Blue Skies
Strauss(R.): Vier lezte Lieder, 13 Lieder (Te Kanawa/Solti)
Kiri Te Kanawa - Songs of inspiration
Mozart: Arias (Te Kanawa)
Kiri Te Kanawa- Fauré, Handel, Bach, Mozart, Brahms
There may be other albums that I don’t have the names
Please note that albums added la ittle bit before, 6 days ago, and since that, have never disappeared.
I had the same issue two weeks before with other albums named. The common point of them, which may have nothing to do with the issue, is that they were all starting by the same words "Blossom Dearie - " I solved the issue by creating a special directory scan towards the “Blossom Dearie” directories.
Regards
Thanks for the follow-up! When you see this happen, can you navigate to your Roon Settings>Storage and confirm that your watched folders are still properly connected and synced?
How is your Mac connected to your router, as well as your NAS? If possible, can you simplfy your network setup and run a direct ethernet connection from your Mac to your router, as well as from your NAS to your router, and let me know if you run into the same issue?
