Albums sometimes broken into two or more parts

I rip my music using iTunes on a mac, and have just begun playing my music using Roon - I’m a newbie, but I love the interface.

My problem began with iTunes - albums that are anthologies of various artists get broken into multiple album files.

I was kinda hoping the Roon would fix that problem during discovery phase - but that didn’t happen.

Does anyone know how to put the pieces back together again?

This happens to me all the time.
If you go to the album and select the 3 dots.
then edit →
Fix Track Grouping.

There you may add/delete disks and their order.
Not the ideal, but doable.

You may need to shift select to get albums of different names to be seen together to merge them. I hope that makes some sense.
