When I upload some albums to my local hard drive connected to my ROCK, they sometimes appear as “unidentified.” Even after attempting to identify them, Roon fails to find a match. How can I remove the “unidentified” label in such cases?
Albums are no longer marked as unidentified after they got identified, automatically or manually,
If there is no match in Roon’s database you can create a suitable entry for the album in MusicBrainz. If you not want to do that then you have to leave the album unidentified (better than matching it against a non matching album, I guess).
ok, clear, but that’s weird for me too. I add an album from Qobuz and everything is recognized well. I buy that Qobuz album and add it and now it is not recognized. That seems strange and should be improved. Maybe make a link with the Qobuz database?
Have you tried adding the Qobuz copy to your library? If and when your album becomes “recognized” after the addition, you can then delete the Qobu copy.
Yes, Roon calls the Qobuz version: “Duplicate”
When I tried to detect the version on my server, Roon could not find that album. (=Peder af Ugglas - Go Easy)
