Describe the issue

Roon doesn’t find my albums; titles of history are shown but unavailable. Restarting modem, Roon etc. doesn’t help.
I make use of Oppo UDP as endpoint and Intel Nucleus dedicated computer. Setup has worked flawlessly during the last 6 months or so.
How to resolve the issue?

Describe your network setup

I did already in my first question.

Hello @pjhm.vleeshouwers,

Thank you for reaching Roon support.

We observed the Tidal outage recently. Would you kindly try to log in to Tidal directly in the browser or the Tidal app and check how it goes there?

Hello Vadim

Thank you for your reply.
It turns out that I have no problem with Tidal itself. So the problem seems to be lying elsewhere.
Hope you have other suggestions.

In Roon settings, logout out of Tidal and then sign in again.

Hi @pjhm.vleeshouwers,
Thanks for trying that for us. Please try logging in and out of Tidal like @Carl suggested. If that doesn’t work then please trying clearing your cache. here are the steps you can use.

  • Exit out of Roon
  • Find and open your Roon database
  • Navigate to /Library/Roon/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon and verify if the issue still occurs

Thanks for all the input.
After logging in and out of Roon and Tidal several times the system seems to have reorientated itself and everything runs smoothly now. Otherwise it would have been impossible for me to relocate the Roon library (cache) to a desktop because at the moment I don’t have a working device anymore (and normally I’m not in need of it anymore).
Thanks again, Paul

Hi @pjhm.vleeshouwers,
Thanks for letting us know everything is working smoothly now! I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as solved. It will stay open for a few more days in case anything else comes up.
