Algorithm for sorting?

I’m wondering how Roon sorts certain things.

When I want to display the artists according to the amount of records, it doesn’t add up.

The artist of wich I have the most albums:

Bruce Springsteen
15 Albums
1 Song on a compilation

My girlfriend is a Take That fan and they stand number 1 in the list. Even though they have less albums.
11 Albums
12 Singles and EP’s
1 song on a compilation

So it looks the amount of singles heavenly influences the position on the list.

What’'s the way Roon gives “points” to an artist to determine it’s place on the list?

The sort order decides the order. Focus selects the criteria.

Unfortunately for the OP’s requirement though, the “Album type” criterion is not available for artists (which is only logical by the way). Therefore, this ranking will be based on all releases by the artist in your library, regardless of whether it is a single, EP or main release.
