I’m using my mac mini as Roon Core, but I also stream on this device from my DAC.
So not going remote.

Connected Audio Devices

Mac Mini System Output → USB (no dock) → JDS Labs El DAC II → HeadAmp GS-X Mini → Abyss Diana V2

Number of Tracks in Library

Im streaming with Qobuz.

Description of Issue

Sometimes when I use media controls, like pause, start, next song, previous song or even click on a certain point in the song timeline all my audio zones disappear and it takes about ~5 seconds for them to re-appear.
This issue has been happening for about ~4 months now.

I looped in our technical team, so they can take a look at your logs, but, in the meantime, I was wondering, if you stream music to System Output only as your Zone, do you ever experience your audio zones disappearing?

Yeah last time this happened I was streaming music to my System Output.
